ILOILO City – A 27-year-old man was stabbed with a broken glass bottle in Barangay Bulwang, Numancia, Aklan.
Jorecel Nedic of Barangay Dumga, Makato town was wounded on the stomach and left thigh, a police report showed.
The suspect, 28-year-old Sim Carisma of Calinog, Iloilo, attacked the victim at around 10 p.m. on Saturday, police said.
Nedic was taken to the Dr. Rafael S. Tumbokon Memorial Hospital in Kalibo.
Carisma was detained at the Numancia police station./PN
