ILOILO City – A 41-year-old man was stabbed to death in Zone 15, Barangay Calaparan, Arevalo district.
Rady Pilara sustained wounds on the underarm and the back. He was taken to Iloilo Doctors’ Hospital in Molo where he was declared “dead on arrival.”
Pilara was headed to a wake when another Calaparan resident, Roberto Tan, attacked him around 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
Tan fled after the incident and remains at large as of this writing. Police have yet to determine his motive./PN
