BACOLOD City – Due to a misunderstanding, a man stabbed his younger brother to death in Barangay RSB, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.
The 33-year-old Mark Sudario of Barangay Ayungon, La Carlota City sustained stab wounds on the different parts of the body, a police report showed.
Mark’s brother, the 35-year-old George, used a knife in stabbing him.
They were drinking liquor during a birthday party of George’s son when an altercation occurred between them.
Mark was rushed to the Don Salvador Benedicto Memorial District Hospital in La Carlota City but died.
The incident happened around 11 p.m. on Oct. 23.
George surrendered to the police. He was detained at the La Carlota City police station lockup facility./PN
