CAPIZ – A 43-year old man was rushed to the Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital (RMPH) after his friend and drinking buddy stabbed him past midnight on Jan. 30 in Sitio Ilaya, Barangay Banga-an, Panitan, Capiz.
The victim was identified as Olano Dizon while the suspect was identified as Ronnel Rivero, 36, both are residents of the said barangay.
Initial investigation of the Panitan MPS showed that from awake, the victim and suspect decided to have a drinking session in a sari-sari store nearby.
Due to drunkenness, a heated argument transpired between them which led the suspect to stab the victim using an unknown pointed weapon.
The victim sustained a stab wound on his right chest and currently undergoing treatment while the suspect immediately fled./PN
