BACOLOD City – A local was arrested for marijuana possession two nights before the weekend highlights of the MassKara Festival.
Rolen Santillan of Barangay Pahanocoy yielded a coin purse containing dried marijuana leaves and a pair of scissors.
The 20-year-old was hauled to the lockup cell of Police Station 1.
Officers caught him on Rizal-San Juan streets in Barangay 12 around 9:45 p.m. on Thursday.
Police officers and soldiers are securing areas of convergence, particularly the festival sites./PN
