BACOLOD City – A laborer was found dead in Barangay Punta Mesa, Manapla, Negros Occidental.
Police identified the fatality as 60-year-old resident Nestor Jordan Esquilito.
The 49-year-old Abner Jardeliza found Esquilito lifeless around 1:30 p.m. on Friday, a police report showed.
Jardeliza hired Esquilito to dig a hole at the back of their house, police said.
Esquilito was brought to the Manapla Health Center where he was declared “dead on arrival.”
Officers of the Manapla municipal police station were investigating the incident./PN
