BACOLOD City – A woman who was allegedly part of a drug group was collared by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, Regional Special Operation Task Group and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency around 10 p.m. on Thursday in Sitio Canday-ong, Barangay Calindagan, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
Police said Pamela España Torre is a member of the Belandres drug group that operates in Dumaguete City and its neighboring towns.
Torre yielded two sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated market value of P141,600; P500 marked money; other drug paraphernalia; and P7,600 cash amount in different denominations.
Detained, she is facing charges in violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
