Michael Pacquiao, son of boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, has sparked attention online after he dropped a photo of himself with his visibly new look amid rumors that he underwent nose enhancement.
Michael took to his Instagram page on Saturday, Jan. 17, to share a picture of himself, seemingly highlighting his nose as he posed thoughtfully to his left.
In the comments section, netizens pointed out the visible difference, while others praised the 24-year-old General Santos City councilor’s new appearance.
Michael has been the center of online speculation about him undergoing nose enhancement after social media users compared his appearance last year in a video showing him with his parents during a recent family gathering and then with his new photo.
However, the young politician has neither confirmed nor denied whether he underwent any cosmetic procedure.
Meanwhile, Michael’s girlfriend, celebrity stylist Joyce Tan Custodio, earlier addressed the online criticism about their significant age difference after claims she is already in her late 30s while Michael is only 24 made the rounds online.
“Don’t worry, sanay na kami (we’re used to it),” said Custodio, who was also the former stylist of Michael’s mom, Jinkee Pacquiao. “Mas affected pa kayo sakin sa nababasa/ napapanood niyo na minsan halos maling information na nalabas sa news.”
Meanwhile, Manny and Jinkee recently became first-time grandparents after their eldest son Jimuel Pacquiao welcomed his first child with his non-showbiz wife. (Jessica Ann Evangelista © Philippine Daily Inquirer)
