BACOLOD City – The No. 2 most wanted person in the watch list of the Police Regional Office 4B (PRO 4B) was arrested in Barangay Poblacion, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
The 34-year-old Marcelino Sumaoang of Barangay Pitogo, Rizal, Occidental Mindoro was caught in an operation staged by the Sagay City police station, the Regional Intelligence Unit of the PRO 4B Investigation Group, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, and the Philippine National Police Maritime Group.
Sumaoang was served with an arrest warrant issued by Judge Jose Jacinto Jr. of Regional Trial Court Branch 45 in Occidental Mindoro for murder and three counts of frustrated murder on Sept. 16, a police report showed.
The court recommended a P200,000 bail bond for each count of frustrated murder and no bail for murder./PN
