BACOLOD City – After almost a month, a missing man was found in Barangay Biak-na-Bato, La Castellana, Negros Occidental.
Resident Rodrigo Tatoy Jr. discovered the remains of 37-year-old Roger Labanon of Barangay Cabacungan, La Castellana in a sugarcane plantation 50 meters away from the national road, a police report showed.
Tatoy informed Barangay Biak-na-Bato chief Joselito Martinez who reported to the police.
Labanon went missing on July 26.
Labanon’s sister, 55-year-old Carmona, identified the former through the clothes.
Carmona said his brother had an illness that may have caused his death./PN
