BACOLOD City – Missing since April 9, an elderly woman was found dead in a creek in Barangay Tabunan, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
It was not immediately clear as of this writing how the 73-year-old Felicidad Dolleno of Barangay Dulao, Bago City died.
According to her family, she left home on April 9 and failed to return.
A farmworker in Tabunan found her body at 8 a.m. Wednesday, and then it was taken to the Bago City District Hospital, police said.
Citing nearby locals, police said Dolleno was last seen alive in Tabunan on Tuesday.
Her family searched for her but to no avail, police said.
