ILOILO City – Two persons died while two were wounded in a vehicular accident in Barangay Jibolo, Janiuay, Iloilo.
Police identified the fatalities as Josepino Jajeno, 60, of Barangay Cahaguichican, Pototan, Iloilo and John Marino, 33, of Barangay Jibolo.
Meanwhile, Marino’s wife Analyn, 32, and Jajeno’s son, Mark Joseph, 20, were recuperating at the town’s Federico Roman Tirador Sr. Memorial District Hospital.
According to the police, the victims were all bound for the town of Janiuay around 5:30 p.m. on March 28 when the Jajenos overtook another vehicle and subsequently crashed into the couple’s motorcycle.
The younger Jajeno, who was the driver of their motorcycle, will be charged for reckless imprudence resulting to double homicide and frustrated homicide, police said./PN
