ILOILO City – A motorcycle rider died in a crash in Barangay Tabucan, Cabatuan, Iloilo.
Jan Niño Celeste was driving to this capital city when his motorcycle hit a sport utility vehicle at around 5:50 a.m. on Nov. 2, a police report stated.
The 22-year-old resident of Barangay San Nicolas, Calinog town sustained injuries on the head and feet.
Celesta was negotiating a curve when his vehicle collided into an Isuzu Crosswind Sportivo driven by Cynthia Tanchuan, 58, of Barangay Tiring, Cabatuan, police said, citing witnesses.
Tanchuan had a hypertension in light of the incident. She was taken to the Ramon Tabiana Memorial District Hospital in Cabatuan.
She told the police that she will shoulder the expenses for the burial of the victim./PN
