BACOLOD CITY – A motorist figured in a road accident in Barangay Granada.
The 55-year-old Roland Pineda of Barangay Mansilingan died of body injuries, police said.
According to police investigation, the motorcycle driven by Pineda hit a parked 10-wheeler truck around 11:10 p.m. on Jan. 20.
The truck driver was identified as 44-year-old Edgar Maribao of Barangay, Sambag, Cebu City.
He was detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 5, facing charges./PN
