Bacolod City – Charged with domestic violence, a man was nabbed in Barangay Abo-Abo, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
The 33-year-old resident Franklin Arimas was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant on Dec. 12, a police report showed.
Officers of the municipal police station served the warrant issued by Judge Walter Zorilla of the Regional Trial Court Branch 55 dated Nov. 22.
Arimas was detained in the lockup facility of the Murcia police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9262, or the Anti-Violence against Women and their Children Act of 2004.
The court recommended a P72,000 bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty./PN
