BACOLOD City – A 20-year-old man was arrested in Barangay Sta. Rosa, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
Diether Rubaton was charged with “sexual abuse in relation to Republic Act 7610,” or the Special Protection of Children against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act, a police report showed.
Armed with an arrest warrant, policemen of Murcian staged Rubaton’s apprehension around 1:10 p.m. on Nov. 3.
Rubaton was detained in the lockup cell of the municipal police station.
A P180,000 bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
