ILOILO City – Her fellow boardinghouse tenants threatened her, a 39-year-old woman complained to the Molo district police.
Ma. Consuelo Bernas said the incident caused her and her unidentified live-in partner anxiety.
Her 36-year-old fellow tenant Rodelyn “Pani” Taño uttered to her, “Ngaa ara ka dira sa gwa? Sulod diri. Karon ihawon ko ni bana mo,” Bernas said in a police report.
Meanwhile Taño’s live-in partner, whom Bernas identified only as “Joevanie,” shouted at her, “Bastos ka, illiterate, wala ka ineskwelahan!” the police report stated.
Bernas claimed these were just among the threats her fellow tenants uttered to them at around 10 a.m. on Feb. 25.
The two other tenants cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.
Police referred the case to the barangay lupon./PN
