The Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 has been upgraded to speed up immigration border control and expand food choices for international passengers.
On Monday, December 15, airport operator New NAIA Infra Corp (NNIC) said it was undergoing deployment of 78 biometric immigration e-gates across NAIA under a phased rollout, with systems already operational at Terminals 1 and 3, where international flights operate.
Further, the NAIA Terminal 3 upgrade also broadens passengers’ dining choices as NNIC will open two new food halls, All-Filipino Tambayan Food Hall and the Mezzanine Food Hall.

NNIC will also launch the new Dignitaries Lounge at Terminal 3. This 200-square meter lounge is designed to accommodate up to 61 distinguished guests.
“This shows how this partnership with the government is delivering improvements that the public can actually see and feel. As we enter the new year, we look forward to continuing this work and building on what is already in place,” NNIC President Ramon S. Ang said.
To date, the NAIA public-private partnership has delivered over P57 billion in NNIC remittances to the government, supporting other public priorities.
