ILOILO City – His neighbor allegedly hacked him.

Alex Gordon, a 57-year-old farmer, landed in a hospital after he was attacked at around 7 p.m. on Monday.

His relatives rushed the resident of Barangay San Rafael, San Remigio, Antique to the Angel Salazar Memorial General Hospital in the capital town of San Jose for treatment, a police report showed.

Police identified his suspected attacker as neighbor Paquito Pamulaga, 58.

Pamulaga fled after the incident, stated the police report.

The suspect used a bolo in striking the farmer on the different parts of the body, police said.

The motive in the attack remained unclear as of this writing./PN
