ILOILO City – A Monday evening fire gutted two houses and partially damaged a nearby warehouse in Barangay Monica Blumintritt, City Proper.
According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire started at the house of Janel Dila-on around 10 p.m.
From Dila-on’s house, the blaze spread to a nearby house owned by Margie Bigkas and a warehouse owned by Charlie Ho.
No person died or got injured in the fire.
Personnel of the BFP declared a fire out after nearly an hour.
As this was being written, they have yet to determine the cause of the fire and the estimated value of the gutted properties./PN
