The National Police Commission has removed the height requirement for those applying to become police officers. PNP

MANILA – Height is no longer a requirement for those who want to become police officers, the National Police Commission (Napolcom) has announced.

An applicant must be a Filipino citizen with a bachelor’s degree and not more than 30 years old – these are the only requirements for those taking the Philippine National Police (PNP) Entrance Exam on April 22 – Napolcom vice chairman and executive officer Rogelio T. Casurao said.

Casurao also said the On-Line Examination Application Scheduling System (OLEASS) on www.napolcom.gov.ph or www.napolcom-oleass.com for the nationwide PNP Entrance and Promotional Examinations has been opened.

Online application shall be from Jan. 29 to Feb. 2 for the PNP Entrance Exam; Feb. 5 to 9 for the Police Officer (PO) Exam, and Feb. 12 to 16 for the Senior Police Officer (SPO), Inspector (Insp.) and Superintendent (Supt.) Exams.

Applicants must reserve their online appointment on these dates, depending on which exam they are applying for, to secure a slot.

Casurao said the OLEASS is one of their new innovations to make the application for admission to the police force easier.

Examination fees are P400 for the PNP Entrance and PO exams, P450 for the SPO exam, P500 for the Insp. Exam, and P600 for the Supt. Exam. (PNA)
