BACOLOD City – Suspected members of the New People’s Army (NPA) shot to death a habal-habal driver in Barangay Luz, Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental.
Police identified the driver as Regie Fundador of Barangay Linantuyan, Guihulngan City.
Four unidentified suspects – who identified themselves as NPA rebels – repeatedly fired at Fundador around 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 19, a police report showed.
The gunmen fled the crime scene after the shooting.
Guihulngan City police were still identifying the suspects and the motive in the shooting./PN
