BACOLOD CITY – An overseas Filipino worker (OFW) was arrested in her house in Sitio Lupao, Barangay Quezon, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
Nora Layan, 43, was charged with attempted homicide and grave threat, a police report showed.
Judge Jose Meno Ruiz of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities in San Carlos City ordered the suspect’s arrest.
Layan was detained at the San Carlos City police station.
A P38,000 bail bond (for the two cases) was recommended for her temporary liberty./PN
