BACOLOD City – A collector of a motorcycle company lost money and other valuables to two holdup men in Sitio Cabungahan, Barangay Concepcion, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Police identified the victim as Alvin Gerian, 24, of Barangay Maninihon, Bayawan City, Negros Oriental.
The holdup happened around 1 p.m. on July 31.
According to the police, the motorcycle-driving Gerian was blocked by the robbers and struck with a tree branch on his left hand.
One of the robbers then declared a holdup while threatening Gerian with a knife.
The suspects took Gerian’s P1,000 collection, P800 personal cash, cellular phone, identification and automated teller machine cards, a stub of collection receipt, two motorcycle engine keys, and an office key.
