ROXAS City – The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Capiz recently passed Provincial Ordinance No. 280 – 2021 setting a “Capiz Bicycle Dday” every fourth Sunday of November of each year.
According to Vice Gov. James Magbanua, biking is good mode of transport and leisure, and a kind of sport.
As a mode of transport, biking is most economical and environment-friendly because it does not require fuel, does not emit carbon monoxide and does not create noise pollution.
