ILOILO City – To get released from detention, a rape suspect in Buenavista, Guimaras will have to pay a P120,000 bail bond.
Roberto Navanes, 52, of Barangay San Isidro, Buenavista was arrested and hauled to the municipal police station custodial facility.
Navanes was charged with two counts of rape, police said.
Police served him a warrant of arrest at around 3 p.m. on Sept. 12.
Judge Rosario Abigail Dris-Villanueva of the Regional Trial Court Branch 65 issued the warrant and recommended the bail bond.
Navanes has not yet posted bail as of this writing./PN
