P17K motorcycle parts seized from minor in NegOcc

BACOLOD City — Motorcycle parts and maintenance products worth P17,590 were recovered after a minor was allegedly caught breaking into a warehouse in Barangay 2, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental on October 5.

Police said the incident occurred at about 10:30 a.m. along Campanilla Street, where the minor allegedly climbed over the perimeter fence and forcibly entered a warehouse owned by a 35-year-old businessman identified as alias “Mark.”

A barangay tanod reported the incident to the San Carlos City Police Station, prompting mobile patrol officers to proceed to the area and conduct an investigation.

According to police, the minor was caught in the act while allegedly taking assorted motorcycle parts and maintenance products from the warehouse.

Recovered were two pulley set assemblies valued at P880 each; four drive plates worth P380; three boxes of spray paint valued at P1,440; one box of CVT cleaner worth P4,680; six cans of CVT cleaner valued at P195 each; three boxes of Shell CT scooter products worth P4,740; and three boxes of AX3 Shell oil valued at P3,420.

The recovered items had a total reported value of P17,590.

Police withheld the minor’s identity and said the case is being handled in accordance with procedures governing offenses involving children in conflict with the law./PN
