ILOILO City – Around P204,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized from two drug suspects in a buy-bust operation on Saturday, August 24, in Barangay Bakhaw, Mandurriao district.
Joint operatives of the Iloilo City Police Office’s (ICPO) Drug Enforcement Unit, Police Station 10 and Mobile Patrol Unit arrested aliases “Panoy”, 59, and “Erl”, 43, both residents of the aforementioned barangay.
They yielded 11 sachets of suspected shabu, buy-bust money, and other non-drug-related items.
The suspects are now under the custody of the Police Station 10. They will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
