ANTIQUE – Around 70 grams of suspected shabu approximately valued at P476,000 were confiscated from three individuals in a drug buy-bust operation in this province’s Barangay Bongbongan, Hamtic.
Arrested were couple Cloyd and Janeilyn Esclavilla, both 42 years old and residents of the town’s Barangay Poblacion 2, and Angelo Puray, 32, of Barangay Bongbongan.
The joint operation carried out at around 1:31 a.m. yesterday, August 8, involved the Antique Provincial Police Office’s (AntPPO) Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and Provincial Intelligence Unit and Hamtic Municipal Police Station’s (MPS) Station Drug Enforcement Team.
Police also recovered the P5,500 in buy-bust money.
The suspects were detained at the Hamtic MPS, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
