BACOLOD City – After stabbing his son, a man in Barangay Cambuilao, Bais City, Negros Oriental surrendered to the police.
Police identified the man as the 66-year-old Gilberto Castillo.
Castillo’s son, Luis, sustained a stab wound on the stomach and left arm. He was rushed to the Bais City District Hospital for treatment.
Altercation ensued between the two around 7:29 p.m. on Sunday, according to the police.
Luis – who was having a drinking binge with his friends in front of his father’s store – got mad when Castillo told them that he will close the store for it was already late.
