BACOLOD City – Cash and other items worth about P153,000 went missing in Barangay Felisa, a police report showed.
The 26-year-old John Marvin Canones reported to Police Station 10 after he found his P100,000 cash and two cellphones worth about P53,000 gone on Monday. He believed they were stolen.
Canones told the police the items were placed on top of a table inside his bedroom.
Canones said the robber gained entry to the room by detaching the jalousie windows.
He added that he found in the room a cellphone that the robber left.
Canones turned over the cellphone to the police.
It was later found out that the 18-year-old resident Ella Canajero owns the cellphone that Canones turned over.
Canajero on the same day reported to the police that her phone went missing.
Canajero told the police that the 18-year-old Ronie Catalan of Barangay Mansilingan went to her house that day.
