ILOILO City – A 22-year-old man was stabbed by his father in Barangay Atabay, Tobias Fornier, Antique, a police report showed.
But Sammy Perano was just caught between the fight between his father Roldan, 53, and brother John Harold.
Perano sustained a stab wound on the chest. He was taken to the President Diosdado Macapagal District Hospital.
Roldan and John Harold were in a drinking binge around 9:15 p.m. on Aug. 18 when a heated argument ensued between them, the police report stated.
The father suddenly grabbed a knife and swung at his son but missed.
Perano tried to pacify them but his father, who kept charging, stabbed him.
Roldan was detained at the Tobias Fornier police station./PN
