ROXAS City – Police arrested two suspected drug pushers in separate operations in Panitan and Pontevedra towns in Capiz on Monday.
The 20-year-oldFrancis Catalan of Sitio Riles, Barangay PoblacionIlaya, Panitan was caught around 4:30 p.m.
Three sachets of suspected shabu, a disposable lighter and several drug paraphernalia were recovered from him.
The Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Group (PAIDSOTG) Team Bravo led by Inspector Gerald Madriaga and the Municipal AIDSOTG led by Inspector Joaquin Ochavostaged the operation.
Around six hours later, the 19-year-old Eddie Dasillo of SitioTabag, Barangay Tacas, Pontevedra was accosted.
Seized from him were three sachets of suspected shabu and several drug paraphernalia.
Operatives from the PAIDSOTG Team Alpha led by Inspector Wilfredo Venus Jr. and the PontevedraMAIDSOTG arrested Dasillo.
Both suspects were detained./PN
