BACOLOD City – A parricide charge may be filed against a man who killed his mother in Barangay Bolocboloc, Sibulan, Negros Oriental.
Roger Manaban, 52, chopped the body of Josefina, 86, in their house on Aug. 28, a police report showed.
Roger took Josefina’s internal organs and eyes and grilled and ate them, police said.
He did these after fatally stabbing her on different parts of the body, an autopsy showed.
Police believed Roger was under the influence of illegal drugs.
Recovered from him was a knife measuring 12 inches, which he used in the crime.
Roger was detained./PN
