BACOLOD City – More than a thousand passengers flocked at BREDCO port in this city on Monday morning, Jan. 2, as the holiday season ended. The normal work day resumes today.
As of 11 a.m. yesterday, a total of 1,696 Iloilo-bound passengers passed through the BREDCO port, data released by Coast Guard District Western Visayas (CGDWV) Chief of Operations, commander Jansen Benjamin, showed.
A total of 867 passengers, meanwhile, arrived in Bacolod City.
Also, a total of 867 outbound and 97 inbound rolling cargoes passed through the port.
For the whole Western Visayas, Benjamin posted data showing a total of 14,232 outbound passengers and 11,408 inbound passengers.
The CGDWV also inspected 234 vessels and motorboats across the region./PN
