ILOILO City – Was it intentional or indiscriminate?
Two residents were wounded in a shooting on Simeon Aguilar Street in the component city of Passi on Sunday night.
Jeremie Palma, 35, sustained gunshot wounds on the stomach and left arm while Ruby French, 42, was hit on the right arm, a police report showed.
Both were confined at the Iloilo Doctors’ Hospital in Molo district.
A neighbor was tagged as suspect – 35-year-old Ronald Capote.
Capote allegedly discharged his firearm at around 9 p.m., prompting his two neighbors to check where the gunshot was from. Then Capote fired at them, the police report stated.
Officers arrested Capote following a hot pursuit and detained him at the Passi City police station./PN
