ILOILO – Operatives of the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit (RPDEU) arrested two high-value drug suspects in an anti-illegal drug operation in a subdivision in Barangay Jibao-an Sur, Pavia town on Wednesday evening, May 15.
Aliases “Jojo” and “Jon,” both delivery riders and residents of the aforementioned barangay, were found in possession of 320 grams of suspected shabu valued at around P2,176,000.
Police Captain Ryan Christ Inot, team leader of RPDEU, said the suspects’ drug transactions were made online.
As of this writing, RPDEU said they were still investigating the suspects’ source of illegal drugs.
The suspects were taken into custody by the RPDEU. They are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
