THE Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) temporarily suspended lotto and digit games operations from March 29 to 31.
In its advisory, the suspension – which covers the selling and conduct of draws – in the dates stated, is in place “pending approval” of PCSO’s request to conduct draws at its Main Office in Mandaluyong City.
STL and Keno draws and selling of Instant Sweepstakes tickets in areas not covered by the declaration of the enhanced community quarantine shall be maintained unless otherwise superseded by subsequent issuances pertaining to quarantine classifications.
Furthermore, all PCSO gaming operations shall be suspended nationwide form April 1 to 4 in observance of the Lenten Season, except for the Small Town Lottery (STL) in areas with approved request to conduct selling and draw activities./PN
