ILOILO City – A man crossing the highway in Barangay Tiwi, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo was hit by a motorcycle on Sunday.
Jolito Banggod, 38, of Barangay Omio, Lemery, Iloilo was rushed to the Don Jose S. Monfort Medical Center for head and body injuries.
Motorcycle driver Diosyl Jan Malaygay of Barangay San Jose, San Miguel, Iloilo was detained at the Barotac Nuevo police station.
The accident happened around 12:10 p.m., police said./PN
