ILOILO City – A motorcycle driver complained to the Mandurriao district police that two pedestrians punched him.
Pedrito Villanueva, 53, of Barangay Calajunan, Mandurriao sustained wounds on the face and complained of pain on the right side of his body.
Villanueva told the police he was driving along Guzman Street, Barangay Guzman-Jesena, Mandurriao on Dec. 15 when Fernando Boralado, 50, of Barangay Cubay, Jaro suddenly crossed the street, causing him to abruptly stop.
Boralado confronted him. Villanueva said he was trying to explain when Boralado punched him on the mouth. Boralado’s unidentified companion punched him, too, the driver told the police.
Boralado cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.
Police advised Villanueva to seek medical treatment. Officers were still looking into the incident further./PN
