ILOILO City – Three sachets of suspected shabu were seized from a 35-year-old resident of Barangay Tanza-Esperanza, City Proper.
Rubylen Peñaredonda was arrested in a buy-bust operation on Aldeguer Street at around 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 27 while the city was celebrating the Dinagyang Festival, a police report showed.
Detained at Police Station 1, Peñaredonda is facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The suspect sold to a poseur buyer a plastic pack of suspected shabu for P600 and yielded two more sachets of the same substance, the police report stated.
Police officers staged the operation in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 6./PN
