ILOILO City – Human skeletons were found in a sugarcane plantation in Barangay Mandog, Maasin, Iloilo.
Police said an identification card bearing some details – Edgar Sabanal, 44, of Barangay Dagbasan, Mabinay, Negros Oriental – was also recovered on April 29.
Initial investigation revealed that the man was last seen on March 5. His family believed Sabanal went to visit a relative in Barangay Mandog.
Police have yet to determine the cause of his death./PN
