BACOLOD City – About 500 marijuana plants worth P38,000 were uprooted from a 200-square meter lot in Purok Mangium, Barangay Codcod, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
Joint elements of the Police Regional Office 6 and drug enforcement teams carried out the operation around 11 a.m. on Nov. 29.
The authorities failed to apprehend the person/s maintaining the plantation as well as the owner of the property./PN
