BACOLOD City – Police have yet to identify the suspects in a robbery in a sugarcane plantation in Barangay Hilamonan, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
The victims were Vivien Medina, Aurelie Geocada and Vincent Goza, all personnel of the Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation Inc. (Dungganon).
The incident happened around 11 a.m. on Nov. 10.
According to the police, the three were riding a tricycle driven by Warjohn Medina when waylaid by four armed men and declared holdup.
The victims reported their missing valuables and money:
* Vivien – a bag containing a cellular phone, wallet with personal cash of P1,000, automated teller machine (ATM) card, valid identification cards (IDs), and cash collection of P24,249.
* Geocada – a backpack containing Dungganon files, cellular phone and a wallet with personal cash of P700, ATM and IDs
* Goza – a backpack containing a tablet, documents, two wallets with ATM, IDs, necklace, and P3,000 cash
The driver, meanwhile, was spared by the robbers.
