ILOILO City – It’s not an original story.
At a birthday party in Barangay Calaboa, Leganes, Iloilo, there was a drinking binge.
And then a misunderstanding between friends. Then stabbing.
Police are hunting down a resident who plunged a bladed weapon on the body of his friend.
Rey Panes remains at large as of this writing. He was accused of stabbing Joline Subradil.
The assault happened after an argument during a drinking spree at a birthday celebration on July 15, a police report showed.
Subradil sustained stab wounds on the left chest, left arm and the stomach.
He was rushed to the West Visayas State University Medical Center in Jaro district.
Panes fled after the incident, police said./PN
