BACOLOD City – Police apprehended a man in Barangay Sara-et, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental.
Nishiu Mag Aro, 30, was charged for allegedly violating the Philippine Fisheries Code, a police report showed.
He was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 8:40 a.m. on May 11.
Judge Eunice Tan Cuansing of Municipal Trial Court in Cities in Silay City, Negros Occidental issued the arrest warrant on April 13, 2021.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Himamaylan City police station.
A P36,000 bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty.
