ILOILO City – Policemen confiscated a .45 pistol and bullets during a saturation drive on June 16 in Molo district.
They also apprehended a 30-year-old suspect, construction worker John Dave Maprangala of Zone 7, Barangay Calumpang, Molo.
From a restaurant-bar in Zone 7, Barangay Calumpang, Molo, Maprangala was taken to the Molo police station.
According to the police, the suspect failed to present pertinent papers such has a gun license and permit to carry outside of residence.
He would thus be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Reglation Act./PN
