Premier Volleyball League to play in Bacolod on Oct. 13

MANILA – The Premier Volleyball League is set to make its return to Western Visayas with a pair of Open Conference elimination round matches on Oct. 13 at the University of St. La Salle Gym in Bacolod City.

Newcomer Choco Mucho Flying Titans will be tested by Pacific Town-Philippine Army Lady Troopers at 4 p.m.

This will be followed by the matchup between Creamline Cool Smashers and Motolite at 6 p.m.

Serving as curtain raiser in the double-header is an exhibition match between Bacolod Tay Tung High School Thunderbolts and University of St. La Salle Bacolod Lady Stingers at 1:30 p.m.

The Flying Titans is to be led by UAAP Season 81 champions Ateneo Lady Eagles trio of Bea de Leon, Kat Tolentino and Madeleine Madayag.

The Lady Troopers is set to be led by Guimaras native Jovelyn Gonzaga and Mary Jean Balse-Pabayo.

The Cool Smashers will brandish its powerhouse roster of Alyssa Valdez, Michelle Gumabao, Jessica Galanza and Risa Sato while Motolite will have Bacolodnon Ma. Arielle Estranero, Myla Pablo, Diana Carlos, and Maria Lina Molde.

This will be the second time PVL plays a regular match in Western Visayas following the encounter between the Cool Smashers and BanKo Perlas Lady Spikers in the Reinforced Conference in Iloilo City./PN
