ILOILO City – A resident of Barangay Poblacion Swa, President Roxas, Capiz was detained at the municipal police station.
Mandy Magsipoc, 22, was caught wielding an unlicensed firearm at the town’s public plaza yesterday, a police report showed.
Magsipoc was arrested at around 12:30 a.m. in light of a report that an armed man was walking at the park.
Officers on visibility patrol caught the local carrying a loaded .38 revolver, the police report stated.
Failing to show documents proving his legal ownership of the weapon, Magsipoc was facing a charge for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, police said./PN
