ILOILO City – An early morning search of a house in Barangay Tumcon Ilaya, Pototan, Iloilo led to the recovery of a gun and bullets.
Officers found a .38 revolver and ammunition for a .38 revolver and a .45 pistol, a police report showed.
The 61-year-old house owner Roger Premaylon failed to show documents proving his legal ownership of the items.
Premaylon was arrested and detained at the municipal police station after the operation at around 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
Police conducted the raid on the strength of a search warrant issued by Judge Vicente Go of the Regional Trial Court Branch 68./PN
